At present, I am currently employed at Airbus, based in Harbin in China as the General Manager for Manufacturing and assembly of the A320, A321 and A350 Vertical Tail and Rudder and Belly Fairings and also the Head of AOS (lean Six Sigma) for all Airbus China. This includes the responsibility for a 24/7 manufacturing plant, and includes all aspects of the business: Business Development, Quality, EH&S, Planning, Maintenance, Tooling, Finance, HR, Engineering and Operations. Also for the implementation and maturity of Lean Manufacturing covering all sites in China including Beijing, Harbin, Tianjin and Shenyang (Component parts manufacturing, Final Assembly Line and Delivery Centre)

Previous to this, I was the Vice President of Production Manufacturing and Assembly of the A330, A350 and A380 wings for Airbus in Broughton in the UK. I have also been employed by GE for 21 years and held various senior management positions in both the Aircraft Engine and Oil and Gas Industries, including being responsible for a $600+M budget and becoming a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. I have also held two international positions within the Middle East in Dubai and Bahrain as Operations Director and Project Director for UTC and Gulf Aviation Technologies along with one position in the Far East in Malaysia as Vice President of Operations with MH Wirth. These positions were aligned to increase market share and the start up of a new business. I have also been a post holder for EASA, FAA, GCAA (UAE) and BCAA (Bahrain).
